Students Building a Road In a Box

(WLNS) – Everyone complains about the roads in Michigan but who is doing anything about them?

As it turns out, forty teens at the College of Engineering at Michigan State University are stepping up.

It’s part of the MSU High School Engineering workshop today.

This afternoon the students will have one hour to create a better road in a see-through box.

They’ll use the same materials and then test the mini roads they’ve constructed.

You never know, one of the engineers-in-training might just have the answer to Michigan’s pothole problem.
